We Strive For Maritime Excellence
In the field of maritime higher studies and research, the first Maritime University of the country -Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh was established in 2014. The University started its journey as the 37th public university of the country, the 3rd Maritime University in South Asia and the 12th Maritime University in the world upholding the motto "We Strive for Maritime Excellence".
The university is currently at its formative stage. Accordingly it’s Engineering Section has a significant role in building infrastructural development at university’s own campus to operate smoothly and contribute additional value to national growth in the sector of Maritime research.
