BSMR Maritime University Organized Commemoration and Cultural Programs on Anti-discrimination Movement and Martyrs and Injured on July, 2024 Mass Uprising

BSMR Maritime University organized a commemoration in memory of the martyrs and injured in the anti-discrimination movement and cultural program in the July Uprising on 05 December 2024 at the temporary campus auditorium of the university located in Pallabi, Mirpur-12, Dhaka. The honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Rear Admiral Ashraful Hoq Chowdhury, NBP, OSP, BCGM, ndu, afwc, psc was present as the chief guest on the occasion. The university teachers, officers, employees and students were also present in that event. Mr. Hasibul Islam, Lecturer, Department of Management and two students of the university presented speeches on the topic. Among with that the university cultural club organized a cultural program with students’ participation at the event. The honorable Vice-Chancellor respectfully remembered the martyrs and injured in the anti-discrimination movement and the Independence of Bangladesh. He urges to build a truly prosperous country and society which will be justice and knowledge based, non-communal and technology base with empowerment of law and order and establishment of human rights with zero unemployment. He also encouraged all the students, teachers, officials, employees to come forward and emphasize on establishing a unity among all by patriotism and by eliminating irregularities, corruption, human rights violations, discrimination in all sectors of the country.
