BSMRMU observed Sheikh Russel Day to mark the 58th birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal (retd) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Faculty members, Students, Officers and Staff of the university attended the function. BSMRMU Cultural Club arranged a cultural program and a discussion on the lifespan of Sheikh Russel took place as well. The event was streamed live on BSMRMU's official Facebook page.
