ICT Centre

The university has a well established ICT Centre. To develop a modern and ICT oriented university campus, ICT Centre renders different initiatives such as:

• To develop and proliferate internet facility through Wi-Fi technology for University teachers, officers, employees including all of the students, ICT Centre has implemented CAN (Campus Area Network) at BSMR Maritime University campus.
• In order to ensure proficiency in English and efficiency in the use of information technology, ICT Centre established a Computer Lab providing high speed internet facility. Besides, to facilitate e-library for students, ICT Centre has set up e-resource access service along with two computers and internet facility at the library.
• To represent the university related information, important notices, news, etc. ICT Centre has launched an organized website at bsmrmu.edu.bd.
• BSMRMU ICT Centre established an air-conditioned Server room devoted to maintain Server Machines, Local Area Network (LAN), Wi-Fi Network, Network Routers, and Network Switches etc. Moreover, to ensure the security of the University, ICT Centre sets up the entire university under the CCTV security surveillance.
