Post Graduate Research Management and Technology Transfer Centre (PRMTTC)

Post Graduate Research Management and Technology Transfer Centre (PRMTTC) is responsible for organizing, managing and conducting M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programme of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU), Bangladesh. BSMRMU offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programme in different fields under the faculties of BSMRMU. Eligible candidates from diverse professional groups as well as from different academies, institutes, colleges and universities from all over the country and also from abroad can join the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes of BSMRMU. PRMTTC will organize national and international seminars, symposia, workshop and lectures of outstanding scholars from home and abroad on different important contemporary issues of Bangladesh. PRMTTC will be responsible for research funds available from BSMRMU, UGC or any other government and non-governmental organizations for postgraduate studies.

PRMTTC also supports BSMRMU faculty members, its affiliated researchers and students for postgraduate studies on the basis of their performance in course and/or research work. It seeks to develop interaction among government resource personnel and university faculty members through seminars, symposia and collaborative research. It also seeks to create link between the university and the society at large through field level research.
