About: I have completed M.Sc. in Oceanography, 2017 and B.Sc. in Fisheries, 2014 securing 1st position in B.Sc. and 2nd position in M.Sc. Title of my MS thesis was ‘Estimation of Primary Productivity Using VGPM Model Along with Spatio-temporal Distribution of Chlorophyll-a and Nutrients in the North-eastern part of Bay of Bengal’. At present I am working as a lecturer at Department of Oceanography & Hydrography, BSMR Maritime University. I also served as lecturer at Department of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography, Patuakhali Science and Technology University from 8th July 2018 to 12th January 2019. I have participated in several Ocean Science and Fisheries related training, seminar and workshop. Some of these includes: Sustainable management of ecosystem, Biodiversity conservation, Blue Economy, Biogeochemical cycling, Ecological Modeling, Biological Oceanography, Nutrient cycling in the Bay of Bengal, Upper Ocean production, food web dynamics & ecosystem characteristics, Sedimentary process & Geology of Bay of Bengal, Paleo Oceanography, Atmospheric flux and impact etc. conducted by renowned international Professors and scientists at the University of Dhaka. In addition, also participated in cruise to survey in Bay of Bengal with Bangladesh navy ship “BNS Turag” from 11th to 18th February 2017 (CTD measurements, water sampling by ‘Niskin’ sampler, sediment sampling by ‘Grab’ sampler, Phytoplankton and Zooplankton sampling). Recent program I have joined in GO2NE Summer School in Xiamen University, China, Jointly organized by IOC-UNESCO and Xiamen University, State key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science on Global Oxygen.
