Vice Chancellor of BSMRMU  addressed as the Chief Guest on the occasion of Sheikh Russel Day-2023 celebration at the university

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU) observed Sheikh Russel Day to mark the 60th birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. A delegation led by the Vice-Chancellor Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa paid homage to Sheikh Russel's portrait at the university. Vice-Chancellor also inaugurated wall magazine on Sheikh Russel Day prepared by the students. Later, saplings were planted in the university premises as part of the days celebration. Besides, by the participation of students poetry recitation and essay competitions were organized in the auditorium. Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest Vice-Chancellor of the University Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa distributed prizes among the winners of the competitions. The Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Faculty members, Students, Officers and Staffs of the university attended the function.
